You may not always find us in the studio - maybe we're surfing, working on-site with our clients, or having a roll down at the Ahuriri Bowling Club, but you can guarantee our brains are ticking over 24/7 because we live design.

Up until the age of 30 I’d never lived anywhere for more than 2 years.
Rather unsettling in some respects, but the constant moving taught me how to quickly adapt to new situations, and blessed me with an open mind and listening ears – an advantage in the creative industry. I trained in London back in the 80’s giving me about 25 years experience (crickey, doesn’t feel that long)

Design naturally mixes in with my lifestyle.
I love the spontaneity, the interaction, the mixing, the journey and the unique result. I’ve been fortunate enough to grow up in a classic kiwi rural environment.
I always enjoy the challenge of working with limited resources to come up with the best solutions. I believe in changing my perspective as much as possible to source inspiration, getting amongst our natural playground where exploration is always the driver.

I arrived at Band from a background in art, exhibition design and freelance graphic design.
The Band experience manages to combine all 3, plus you can walk to the beach for a swim at lunchtime.

I've been in the industry for more than 20 years (taking a little time out to create two yummy little boys).
I'm back! and more excited than ever. My strengths are intuition, vision and passion for design.

I have been working in the design industry for 15 years, both in New Zealand and in the UK.
This included a recent 2 year stint in Devon working as a designer and photographer.
Now back in my home town, I'm enjoying working with a great bunch of people and all that Bay has to offer :)

I've come from a background in graphic design and fashion design with experience in the NZ and UK design industry.
Being the youngest member of band I bring a new perspective and vitality to the mix making sure the oldies are keeping up with the game, and tapping into their wealth of knowledge amassed from years of experience in the design industry.
